Our Initiatives

Children Welfare

We are deeply committed to the well-being of children, especially those from economically and socially backward backgrounds. Our programs focus on education, nutrition, health, and child protection. From running learning centers to organizing health camps and awareness workshops, we ensure that every child receives the care and support needed to grow into a confident and capable individual. We also help bridge gaps for children who are out of school or at risk of dropping out, especially in rural or slum areas.

Dalit Upliftment

Caste-based discrimination continues to be a barrier to equality. Our Dalit upliftment programs aim to break these social barriers by promoting access to education, justice, and economic empowerment. We conduct community sensitization workshops, legal aid camps, and skill training sessions to ensure that Dalit communities are empowered to claim their rights and live with dignity. Our programs are designed to promote self-reliance, leadership, and community development.

Differently Abled

People with disabilities often face stigma and lack access to basic services. Garib Nawaz Naujawan Society promotes inclusivity through mobility support (wheelchairs, crutches), counseling, and employment-linked training. We also work with schools and employers to encourage inclusive environments where the differently abled are treated with respect and equality. Our vision is to make the world more accessible, inclusive, and empathetic.

Education & Literacy

We believe education is the first step to empowerment. Our literacy programs focus on both children and adults. We run after-school support classes, digital literacy sessions, and bridge courses to help out-of-school children reintegrate into the mainstream system. Our education efforts are rooted in community involvement, where local volunteers and teachers play a central role in the teaching process.

Health & Family Welfare

Healthcare is a basic human right. We conduct regular health camps in slum and rural areas, focusing on maternal-child health, hygiene awareness, menstrual health education, and disease prevention. We also distribute medicines, sanitary products, and nutrition packs to undernourished families. By spreading awareness about preventive healthcare, we reduce dependency on emergency care and improve overall community health.

Human Rights

We run awareness campaigns to educate people about their legal rights, particularly minorities, women, and the poor. Our legal clinics, street plays, and workshops empower citizens to stand up against injustice. We also engage with government institutions to ensure that human rights violations are reported and addressed. Our work is guided by the belief that every voice matters and every injustice must be challenged.

Minority Issues

Minority communities often lack representation. We aim to amplify their voices by providing platforms for dialogue, education, and leadership training. Our programs address religious harmony, economic empowerment, and equal opportunity. We work to eliminate prejudice and discrimination through sensitization campaigns and community building programs.

Women’s Development & Empowerment

Women’s empowerment is central to our mission. We help women learn skills such as tailoring, handicraft making, and digital literacy. We promote self-help groups (SHGs), micro-finance initiatives, and financial literacy programs. Our awareness campaigns address domestic violence, reproductive health, and girls’ education, creating a safer and more equal space for women in society.

Skill Development

Our vocational training programs help youth and women gain practical, job-ready skills. From mobile repair, beautician courses, computer training, to spoken English and retail management—we help create pathways to employment and entrepreneurship. Our centers not only train but also connect learners to job placements and start-up support networks.
